I don't even have my tongue. Yep. This is where every day you and I, we get together. We have a little bit of coffee. We get into God's word. and we grow in our love for the Lord together. I don't have anything.
Uh-oh. And this year, 2023, Lord willing, we'll make it from Numbers, Deuteronomy, through the book of Hebrews. Why don't we wipe our head and make coffee. Let's pray. And we'll get into God's word. You ready? Let's pray. God, we thank you so much for this day. We thank you for your word. Please help us to read it and understand it in Jesus's name. Amen. All right. Ellie asked, Is this going to take a long time? Should not. We are at Numbers chapter two, beginning at verse twenty five. Oh, you need the glasses. OK, OK. OK, here we go. Then, oh, no, no, we did that one, let's see. Here we go, verse 25.
The standard of the forces with Dan shall be on the north side according to their armies. And the leader of the children of Dan shall be Ahasuer, the son of Amishadai, and his army was numbered at 62,700. Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher. And the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pegil, the son of Orchren, And his army was numbered 41,500. Then comes the tribe of Naphtali. And the leader of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira, the son of Inan. And his army was numbered at 53,400, all who were numbered of the forces of Dan, 157,600.
They broke camp last with their standards. All right, so that's it. So this was the third camp and they are on the north side. Right. So at the very center of the campus, guess what? Yeah, like that's right. But at the center, at the heart of the camp, at the heart of the camp is the tabernacle. At the heart of the camp is the tabernacle, the very center. So you have three tribes on the east, three tribes on the south, three tribes on the west, and three tribes on the north. And so these are all the camps.
And they're going to march from the first camp with Judah's going to march first. The second camp down in the south with Reuben is going to march second. Then he's going to march the Levites with the tabernacle. Yep, and then you're gonna have the fourth and that's going to are the the third and that's going to be the tribes on the west and Then finally the ones on the north so they're all gonna march out. So this is God's army Marching out marching out March March March. Okay, it's a huge army It's massive tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people, and they're going to go take the promised land.
So it's like, here is another one, boop, boop, boop, here is another one, bum, bum, bum, here is another one, bum, bum, bum. Yeah, if there was a big army coming towards you, how would you feel? You're scared. That's right. Well, that's exactly how the people in Canaan felt they were scared, too But guess who was with the people of Israel God God was with them. That's right. God was with them. So God has his camp. God has his order. Okay That's what's going on here. Do you think God has his order today?
Yeah, do you think that God has an army today? Are you a part of that army? Oh Sure, you are Sure you are, right? Yeah, you're part of that army, right? God tells you to put on the armor of God. You get the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, your feet. Oh, bare feet, your feet. Todd with the gospel. Oh, oh, right. And you have the sword of the sword of the spirit. And the shield of faith. But I want to be a ballerina. You want to be a ballerina? Well, maybe you'll be a ballerina warrior princess. Alright, you ready to pray? Okay.
Lord, we thank you so much that we do not fight against the people of this world, but against the principalities of the ruler of the air. And that we follow after you because you are in our the midst of our camp, Lord, and you have declared the victory. We pray that we would march under your banner and that we would have faith that you are able to accomplish the work that you have begun in Jesus's name. Amen. How do you fight the air? Fight air? Well, you fight the prince of the power of the air. Who do you think that is? I don't know. The devil? The devil? Mm-hmm does he try to tempt you today, but do you have to lose that battle to him?
